| It HAS been a while since I posted last. Life is very good. I just started a new job for a company called echomusic. I am absolutely loving it. Everyone here is great, and have welcomed me so warmly. In addition to that, I now have the company of my friend Christy in my house. She has moved in and will be living with us until at least the end of the year. It will be great to have her there, especially with Kris out on the road so much. It looks like he will be out most of the rest of the year. I may have him home a couple of weeks but that's it. So, while he's out Christy and I will be our crafty selves, and also garden like crazy. I guess that's a pretty good summary of my life as of late. I'm feeling energized right now, and really loving each day. I hope that whatever situation you find yourselves in that you can find hope and joy in the midst. Sometimes it takes some extra looking, and other times it's just right around the corner. Whatever you do, don't give up. | | |
| So the May 12th Housewarming party was a blast! I had so much fun seeing all of our friends, and showing them around our new place. If you were unable to make it on the 12th, don't sweat it because there will be other opportunities to come over, such as July 4th. You may already have plans, but if not, feel free to join us for a July 4th bash at our place. We'll probably BBQ and hang out in the afternoon and then head downtown or somewhere to see the fireworks. So if you would like to be involved in that, let me know.
I wanted to let you know that I have some pictures up at http://hdonegan.photosite.com (you may have to copy and paste this link.)
Some are boring photos of my garden, but they are up there for my Mother. Others are just friends, and pictures of Baby Skiver.
Well thats it. I love you all. Call me sometime, and we'll hang out. September and October are going to be lonely months, so that would be a perfect time to be a friend! :)

| Hey everyone, It's hard to call everyone about these things, because I don't have everyone's number. So here is the final announcement. Please pass along. We are having our house warming party on Saturday May 12th starting at 5pm until everyone leaves. It will be an open house sort of thing, so come as you want. Please bring a side dish, chips, dessert, or beverage. We will have some burgers and hot dogs. If you want something other than that, bring your own meat to BBQ. IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON COMING AT ANY TIME... Please send me an email to heatherdonegan@yahoo.com and let me know how many will be coming with you. This is for food purposes. Please tell your friends, and have them RSVP as well, if they are planning on coming. Thanks, Heather | | |
| Hey everyone, I wanted to give you the heads up of when our House Warming party will be....
It will be on Saturday May 12th.
I will ask that everyone coming brings a side dish or dessert, and drink of choice.
Then, if anyone wants to, you can bring flowers, veggies, or herbs to plant in my garden. That is completely optional, but I thought it would be a personal touch to have here.
If you think you'll make it, please send me an email telling me how many people you will be coming with, and what you would want to grill. That way I can figure out how many burgers, veggie burgers, chicken, hot dogs, etc. to get.
Hope to see you all there. Please share this information with others that may not read Xanga. Everyone is welcome to come. If you are unable to bring anything with you, please don't worry, come anyways.
Have a great day!

| | Currently Listening 9 By Damien Rice The animals were gone... see related | This has been a crazy week.
1) Sunday I found out that two of my good friends are moving....one of them lost her job too(thus the move) 2) Wednesday my car broke down 3) Thursday I had an episode at work, and quit 4) Today Kris has a sinus infection and had to leave for CA(while terribly sick) 5) Today I got hired for a new job 6) Today I found out that I have other friends going through major life changes 7) Also today, I am 2 weeks away from moving into my new house....and the packing has just BARELY begun
7 is an odd number but that's all I've got. This isn't meant to be a complaining list...it's just what it is. It's been a long..tiring week. I'm looking forward to the weekend, except that my hubby isn't here. I miss him bad. He is truly the love of my life, and it just isn't the same when he's not here. Especially when I'm having emotional break downs. (which happen far more often than they should) I'm excited about my new job though. It's at a company that does promotions for a Christian Film company. The whole concept is to integrate Christian art into mainstream culture. The guy who owns the company is great. My job in itself will be mainly making phone calls...but the environment will be so much better than where I was. Hopefully I will be better at this. I took a pretty big pay cut...but that's okay. I think in the end I will feel better about where I am. Feeling miserable isn't worth a larger pay check.
So again, life is changing. In the end though, God is faithful. It's all about the journey. I'm really just trying to follow the path as he shines light on the next steps.
Oh in other news...I am starting some music stuff up again with my producer, so that's a good thing. I didn't mention it earlier, because I'm really just going to let God direct this, and see where it goes. I don't want to make too much of it quite yet. Time will tell.
That's all from me.
Please remember not to get discouraged, no matter what life has brought you. There is always hope somewhere. I don't think life is ever "easy". So hang in there if you're going through something. God is faithful, and he won't leave you stranded.
